I Spy

You can play this on a family car trip, or even just around the house.  The rules are simple. Whoever’s turn it is first finds an object and your family tries to guess what it is.

See a cow in a paddock? Say ‘I spy with my little eye, something beginning with C’. And wait until someone guesses correctly. Whoever guesses the right answer goes next. If you want to, you can make a jelly bean the prize for each correct answer. But don’t make the questions too easy, or the jelly beans will disappear!

Winnie White’s tip: Don’t make the questions TOO hard! Choose objects that are visible for a while. It’s really hard to guess something that you raced past at 100 kmh and is now way back in the distance.
