Sandpit Treasure Hunt

If you have a sandpit, here’s a simple game. Place small toys, wrapped treats and some seashells around the sandpit and cover them up with sand. Give each child a flag on a stick and tell them to stick their flag into the sand. When everyone has done this, start digging in the sand for the buried treasures. The flag nearest each treasure wins it.

Red Romeo’s tip: You can make your own flags with bamboo skewers and squares of coloured paper. You can write each party guest’s name on the flags.
